The key message of the brand essence campaign needed to communicate our brand positioning statement and define the feeling of “just right”. There also needed to be a thread of connection between this project and the “Just Right Fit” brand spots.
By harnessing the power of the inspiration behind the brand positioning—the Goldilocks effect—we are able to uniquely explain the Just Right strategy.
We created the magic of “reading” a storybook with captivating drawings that are hand-drawn to tell the story of a family, a furniture store, and a feeling.
We all grow up in the magical worlds of fairy tales. Living in their enchanting stories creates a gentle vessel for powerful learning.
These books are now found in every Badcock Home Furniture &more store across the U.S.
We created a totally ownable, custom family crest for the front of the book. So much care and intention was put into the production of the books to make them feel like family heirlooms, like a beautiful Dickens novel or bible that had been handed down through generations.
Notice the unique vellum pages—the line drawing on those pages lines up and fits perfectly with the illustrations on the next page. This is a nod to the Just Right “fit” brand positioning we did for the brand the year prior. Check out that page on my site to learn more about it.
